Here’s a lovely one for the weekend and in my opinion so much tastier than most takeaways.
I managed to make this in under 20 minutes and honestly it’s so simple to prepare. You can up the chilli content if you like, but I kept it to just the one as I have a resident chilli hater. Let me know what you thinking and don’t forget to save.

Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
2 small - onions finely
3 cloves garlic - crushed
1 thumb sized piece of ginger - grated
10 chestnut mushrooms - sliced
150g green beans
550g cooked noodles
600-800g lean steak - fillet, bavette, or sirloin
3 spring onions - finely sliced
1 red chilli - sliced
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon runny honey

METHOD

Sauté the onion in a large wok or pan.
Meanwhile cook the seasoned steak to your liking and leave to rest.
Add the garlic, ginger, mushrooms and salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes. Throw in the green beans and cook for another 3 minutes. Pour in the sauce and warm through. Toss the noodles into all of the flavour. Slice the beef into strips and stir through the noodles. Sprinkle with spring onions, sesame seeds and chilli.
This was fantastic...used frozen chilli and garlic and substituted tender stem broccoli for beans. Definitely going to be a meal I will make again!
