Slow Cooked Beef Short Ribs

This is a recipe that you can prepare and forget about all day. It can’t be rushed and if at all possible is better made the day before as you can remove the solidified fat then gently warm up in the oven on a low heat under foil. Serve with corn on the cob and rice.

Serves 4

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

INGREDIENTS

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

8 beef short ribs

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Bbq sauce

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon mustard

3 cloves garlic - crushed

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

METHOD

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Pre heat the oven to 150 degrees.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Mix the sauce ingredients together and coat the ribs. Add to a large roasting tin and cover with foil. Place in the oven and leave for 5 hours. Remove from the oven and turn the ribs. Place back in the oven with out foil for another 2 hours. Skim off as must fat as possible and serve.
